Benefits to Self-Insured Employees Affected by the Covid-19

On 17th April 2020, the Ministry of Labour issued (1) the Ministerial Regulation re: Receiving Unemployment Compensation Due to Force Majeure Caused by an Epidemic of Contagious Disease under the Contagious Disease Law B.E. 2563 and (2) the Ministerial Regulation re: Receiving Unemployment Compensation Due to the Impact from Economic Conditions B.E. 2563  to give financial benefits to the employees who are self-insured under the Social Security System and have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic or the current economic conditions.  The benefits are to be paid by the Social Security Fund.
