The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) of Thailand recently launched the Business Development Service Program (BDSP) for MSME. The BDSP provides co-funding financial support to business development projects of MSME. The support is between 50% to 80% of project costs of each eligible MSME, depending on their size (type) and subject to the maximum of THB200,000 per year and the cumulative maximum of THB500,000 per enterprise.

For all sizes of enterprises, a special support is also available for up to 90% of eligible service fees, but not more than THB10,000 plus the VAT at 7% of the eligible service fees, i.e. fees for business management development, productivity and efficiency improvement, product and service quality and standards development, sales channel and marketing development, and international market development.
The support is available for a wide range of business development activities, including productivity and operational efficiency enhancement, business development and management improvement, product and service quality and standards development, sales channel expansion and marketing enhancement, market development and expansion in both domestic and international markets, and applications and registrations of intellectual property (IP) rights (trademarks, patents, petty patents, design patents, copyrights, and related IP rights).
Eligibility Requirements
Being an SME per the Ministerial Regulations issued under the Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Act B.E. 2543 or being a business entity registered with a government authority.
Having been registered as a member of SME ONE ID and having completed the identity verification in the BDS System at https://bds.sme.go.th/ (The BDS Call Center at 1301, +66 (0)2 038 5858, or +66 (0)2 298 3051).
For an individual entrepreneur, being a Thai national.
For a juristic person, more than 50% of the total share capital must be owned by Thai nationals.
Having complied with tax payment obligations and having evidence of tax filings for at least one fiscal year (latest tax year).
